Volunteers put the "Shine" in Shining Stars!

Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Ministry is an outreach of Freedom Valley Worship Center.

By faith, we rely solely on the generosity and commitment of caring individuals and surrounding communities to provide the means to sustain this riding program for special needs students.

As a Volunteer, you'll gain tremendous satisfaction from watching the participants enjoy physical, emotional, and mental contact with the horses. Experience with horses and/or special needs persons is an asset, but is not required. Training is provided.

Volunteer duties include: leading horses during lessons; sidewalking (walking alongside the horse to offer the rider support when needed); and making sure each rider is safe, happy, and has a memorable riding experience.
